LFP Community Building Class

  • 4739 Rainier Avenue South Columbia City, Seattle, WA United States (map)

The Little Free Pantries have been strategizing how they can streamline their pantry design so that youth and folx without carpentry skills and tools can participate in building a LFP. Excuse our stubbles as we unveil our first community pantry build, in partnership with the fabulous crew @kidscarpentry. Kids' Carpentry is all about empowering youth with hands-on building experience. They have it nailed (excuse the pun). ️

Before attending this class, talk to your neighbors about bringing a LFP to your neighborhood. Please review & complete the steps found in our LFP Resource Guide for Community Builders. To ensure the success of a pantry, it's important neighbors are aware and accepting of a pantry before it's installed. Space is limited, so sign up early! It's going to be a good time with help from multiple skilled craft builders. All materials and tools are supplied. Ages 10+ (with an accompanied adult are welcomed). Class payment contribution taken in-person, evening of.
